Abaniko Technique In German Longsword (Krumphau)


The crooked cut (krumphau) in German longsword is not too different from FMA's abaniko (fan) strikes, but the movement here is more pronounced because of the length in comparison to the bolo (machete or messer).

Viking Combat at Iron Shield Arms on Tuesdays @ 7:30 p.m. (Los Angeles, CA). German Longsword on Sundays (KronMartialArts.Com) in Burbank, CA. These are obviously not FMA schools, but they're great addition to anyone who like weapons training and martial arts.
